He is the founder and has been the director of the Boulder Holistic Medical Center since 2006, and founded and directed the Boulder Community Hospital Holistic Medical Center from 2002-2005. Dr. Paul Berger practices both Family Practice and Integrative or Holistic Medicine, blending the two basic approaches in his clinic where his practice includes everyone from newborn infants to several centenarians.
Certified in acupuncture and Functional Medicine, Dr. Paul Berger has become certified in several body-mind practices and nutritional protocols. He uses this multi-dimensional approach with every patient who comes in the door, and it has served to help many people completely reverse conditions such as diabetes, asthma, bipolar mood disorder, and even Rheumatoid Arthritis which we are usually told are impossible to cure.
Treating each patient as an individual, Dr. Berger believes that if patients are willing to take responsibility and work together as a team with him and other specialists with both conventional and natural medicine, the possibilities for healing and high level wellness are greatly enhanced.
Dr. Berger’s interest in the comprehensive, open-minded approach to diagnosis and treatment using a variety of approaches came from living half his life in several foreign countries. This exposure to different ways of seeing health and vitality drives him to always quest for the underlying meanings, connections, and causes of illness; and to take this broad approach to achieving wellness.
Dr. Berger lives in Boulder with his family where they are all very involved in their local community.
