The lights are low and soft. Sexy jazzy saxophone music is playing in the background. Except for your partner, you are all alone. You are in love, and you have deep needs that needs fulfillment.

You look at your partner. Your partner is steamy, hot, and you want nothing more but to get lost in your partner’s seductive enticing sweet and savory flavors.

Your partner is. . .a big huge piece of lasagna! Ha! I just gave you an orgasm, or more like a foodgasm. You thought I was talking about a human lover. No! I am talking having a foodgasm over a tray of lasagna.

What would you rather do? Hot steamy sex or hot steamy food? Me, I like to build up an appetite for a foodgasm after an orgasm.

But does a foodgasm mean high calorie fattening foods? No! I barbequed a chicken that I seasoned quite nicely. I made a salad filled with all kinds of vegetables like red and green leaf lettuce, red cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, celery, red onion, and sliced radishes. I seasoned it with a little bit of olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper and smashed garlic. I was in food heaven.

Healthy, low calorie, flavorful and yummy. Man, I was a happy girl. My foodgasm was off the charts.

Let’s be honest. If you are a foodie (I am), meals are important to you. Especially when you are tired or stressed. You want a meal that will satisfy your needs for nourishment and comfort. When most of us think about comfort foods, just thinking about these foods is like foreplay working toward a foodgasm.

Just because you are trying to lose weight does not mean food has to be boring and bland. There are no excuses for being bored with food just because you are on a mission to lose weight. Hit the bookstores, and find a cookbook that entices you to eat healthy and teaches you to create meals using the foods you love in a healthier manner. The Internet is loaded with recipes.

Just because your first love (after your partner, husband, or wife, and kids of course) is food doesn’t mean you can’t lose weight and get healthy. No one is telling you to stop eating the foods you love. Just learn to prepare these foods in a healthier way. Have your foodgasm and enjoy.

Don’t make excuses. Variations of your favorite meal made healthy are easy to figure out. And ultimately, weight will come off, and you will feel like you got your sexy back, which will mean you may enjoy more orgasms than foodgasms and keep the weight off.
