I know the best exercise to lose weight. I’m going to share it with you. Are you ready? Wait for it. . .anything you will do!

That right! Anything you will do. Find what you like and will stick to and just do it. It could be swimming, jogging, tennis, racquetball, dance, walking, and even commercial walking.

I do commercial walking sometimes. I started walking and marching in place every commercial as I watched television. Then I built up to where I can walk/march during the show and rest during the commercials. Commercial walking is a great way to get started moving especially if you haven’t done anything in a very long time. There are actually groups who watch television together and do commercial walking.

Mall walking is another best exercise to lose weight. Head for a mall and walk the mall. Whether or not it is an indoor mall or an outdoor mall does not matter. In areas where the weather makes it difficult to get out and walk outdoors, an indoor mall is your best solution. Many malls have mall walker clubs. These clubs start early in the morning before the malls even open up and everyone walks and socializes. It is a great way to meet people and a great way to get your day going.

What is your best exercise to lose weight? Try different things. You might discover your best exercise to lose weight may be something you never tried before, or you may find a combination of exercises may be your best exercises to lose weight.

I don’t think any of us that have dealt with obesity underestimates the power of variety. Challenge yourself! The variety in your choices will reflect the powerful changes you are making in your life. You will feel empowered when you tackle an exercise you have never tried before.

As I get older, I often think about taking Yoga classes. Yoga teaches you to use your body in ways that will help stretch your body and keep you flexible. I have to admit I fear starting because of two reasons. One, I am fat, very overweight, and two, I worry I don’t have the ability to do some of the moves.

Stop yelling at me! I hear you yelling, “Linda, phewy! What a bunch of excuses.”

You’re right. But again, it goes back to what I said at the beginning. The best exercise to lose weight is the exercise you will do I’m not so sure I will actually stick with yoga. Zumba and Jazzercise? Yeah, probably more so because I love to dance.
